Awaji Island Bridge in Japan

Awaji Island bridge

Japan is actually made up of four large islands, and with its majestic views of the seashore, there are noticeable adaptions to the landscape that allow for easier travel. The bridge to Awaji Island is considered to be the longest suspension bridge in the world. This bridge is near an earthquake area and is able to bend and give in case of an earthquake.
