Abstract | This article is interesting in that it advocates using the journeys of the Money King to the West to teach about the complex interconnectedness of Chinese philosophies and religions. The authors introduce the origin of the story, the myriad of divinities and pantheons when it comes to Chinese religion and cosmology, and the ways in which the story of the Monkey King can be used in a way to tie these religions and their complexities together. |
