An informative and brief description and explanation of the life of Sadako, a victim of the Hiroshima bombings. It is filled with colorful images and examples of the trinkets children leave behind as respectful acknowledgement of Japan's young heroine.
This powerpoint could serve as an introduction and lead into the story of this young girl and many other young people who are remembered for their struggles during hard times. Many know of Anne Frank but should know of Sadako. This is especially poignant for students who relate to the agony of battles in war and cancer.
